The Southeast Tucson Campus is focused on Southeast Tucson, Rita Ranch, Vail areas. We have classes in various locations in the region. The majority are held at Del Webb – Rancho Del Lago and the Rincon Valley Fire District Station 1. We are a fun, informative, stimulating, and communal environment. The majority of study group sessions are 1 to 2 hours. However, the field trips can last longer depending on location.

Our three most popular recent classes are:
The nature series from Pima County has been very popular. It has covered everything from floral and cacti to poisonous insects and bats.
The museum series has toured 16 local museums with expert docents leading each group.
World War I proved to be an exceptionally popular class. This class increased in size as word of mouth spread about the quality of the presentation.
For those who are busy during the weekdays, we are offering a Travelogue session on Tuesday evenings 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm during the Fall.
We tend to have a variety of field trips to explore the area and offerings around us. This Fall we will have science field trips to Biosphere II, Mirror Lab, Tree Ring Lab and the Titan Missile Museum. Our nature series will have Birding at Agua Caliente Park and a Nature Walk at Feliz Paseo Park. And our class Hummingbird Monitoring in Southern Arizona will offer a hummingbird banding field trip to the Green Valley area.
We welcome new members and make sure that they have the opportunity to be introduced during classes. At the end of each semester, we have a social event to bring everyone together. The annual meetings invites the entire campus to meet fellow members and hear updates on campus progress. The Southeast Tucson Campus holds Discover OLLI-UA sessions in various locations because of the nature of the community we serve.
Our campus is wide open for volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for motivated members to run for campus council, work in support roles such as Audio/Visual or class greeters or study group leaders.
